Admission Information for 土著 Students
Greetings from Trent University! Trent values Indigeneity and the knowledge, perspective and voice you bring to the Trent community as a person of 土著 Ancestry.
There are two application pathways for Students of 土著 Ancestry (First Nations, Métis或因纽特人, Status or Non-Status):

土著 Diploma Program:
The 土著 Diploma Program 在世界杯压球平台 University is a program for applicants of 土著 ancestry who wish to pursue university level studies, but do not currently meet admission requirements. We acknowledge that many applicants may not have taken a traditional academic path towards post-secondary education and may benefit from studying in a supportive academic atmosphere for 土著 students - this is offered through the 土著 Diploma Program.
如何申请
Current Secondary Students
You are a current secondary student who self-identifies as being of 土著 ancestry who has followed a non-traditional academic path.
You will fill out a “101的表格 OUAC网站 (OUAC), identifying the 土著 Diploma Program as your program choice. You will also be required to fill out the 土著 Diploma Supplemental Application form, which can be found under the "学者" tab of your myTrent portal.
Non-Current Secondary Students
You are not currently enrolled in secondary school. You self-identify as of 土著 ancestry and have not followed a traditional academic path towards post-secondary education. You may be a mature student, or a student who has experienced extenuating circumstances you feel impacted your academic success over the course of your academic history.
Students who identify as non-current secondary students of 土著 ancestry will fill out the 105 - d形式 on the OUAC site.
土著 Diploma Applicant
Students applying to an 土著 Diploma Program must submit an online application through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) or via Trent's Direct Application form. 无论哪种情况, 申请前, please contact our 土著 Enrolment Advisor to activate application support. All diploma applicants are required to contact the 土著 Enrolment Advisor to schedule an intake interview to connect with 土著 Student 支持 服务.
